General Project Settings

This section will cover a variety of settings to manage your project.

You'll learn how to:

  • publish a project on Edgewise's marketplace for reservations,
  • enable marketing automations on your project
  • manage lead assignment for your salespeople
  • and manage secondary sources/appointment types.

Publishing a project on Edgewise marketplace

You can make a project public by publishing it on Edgewise's marketplace, the industry's only way to allow buyers to directly reserve a unit online. To set up online reservations, click here to learn more.

Publishing your project

  1. [Required] Add Sales Office information in Settings > Sales Office.
  2. [Required] Add a marketing description in Project > Marketing.
  3. Click "Make Public" on Settings > General.

This will publish your project on Edgewise's marketplace and enable you to take reservations and negotiate online with your potential buyers.

Marking your project as active

Mark your project as active once you're ready to start taking in leads.

  1. Navigate to Settings > General > Marketing Status.
  2. Select Active from the dropdown menu.

Choosing an Agreement Option

Edgewise supports both rental agreements and purchase agreements. A single project can have both in which case you can select which agreement on a per unit basis.

  1. Navigate to Settings > General > Agreement Options
  2. Check the boxes for Purchase and/or Rent

Enabling marketing tools

Edgewise offers a marketing chatbot and exit intent banners on the marketplace.

The Exit Intent feature captures feedback when a lead is about to leave the page, allowing them to rate the projec, and oftentimes capture their information.

To enable the Exit Intent:

  1. Navigate to Settings > General > Exit Intent
  2. Select Always to turn on the feature or Never to turn it off.

The ChatBot allows leads to engage directly with your project information even when there is no sales representative available. If a sales representative is available, they can take over from the ChatBot at any time.

To enable the Edgewise ChatBot:

  1. Navigate to Settings > General > ChatBot
  2. Select an option:
    • Always enables the ChatBot to be always active at any time.
    • After 5pm allows you to capture leads after normal working hours.
    • Never turns off the ChatBot feature

Managing appointments

Appointments can be added by your sales and marketing team in each lead's profile. Different types of appointments are supported here.

To add a new appointment type:

  1. Navigate to "Project Name" > Settings > General > Appointment Types
  2. Click "New Appointment Type", enter a title, and click "Save"
  3. Manage your appointment types by clicking "Edit" or "Delete"
