Adding customization options

Customizations are a great way to allow your buyers to make their new unit uniquely theirs. All customizations are powered by project specifications.

Specification hierarchy

• Category (e.g. Kitchen)
  • Element (e.g. Appliances)
    • Option (e.g. Premium Appliances)
      • Item (e.g. Gagenau Refrigerator)

Adding specifications in the Spec Editor

1. Navigate to the Spec Editor (Project > Spec Editor).
2. Click "Add Category" on the left hand menu and enter a title. Select a photo from your project photos (optional), and click "Save".
3. Click "Add Element" and enter a title.

- Check "Group options" if only one option in the Element can be selected.

- Select a Phase in the "Phase Lock" dropdown if you want to restrict this option to a certain stage of construction and choose a default option if it is phase locked.

1. Click "Add Option" and enter a title and price for the option.

- You can include a swatch and/or image to better illustrate a color or a selection.

1. Optional You can also include specific items if your Option is a package and includes multiple different upgrades.
